caughtoncamera1 Thief Confuses School Maintenance Facility for Home DepotA thief who has stolen close to $50,000 worth of maintenance tools from the Osceola County Schools’ maintenance facility has finally been caught on camera. The man had broken in several times over the past few months but he managed to avoid surveillance cameras on site. This has lead people to question whether or not it was an inside job.

“He does look like he’s familiar with the surroundings,” Lizasuain of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.

During the most recent break-in, the thief went on a free-for-all inside of the building and stole lawnmowers, backhoes, construction material, electrical, plumbing and air conditioning supplies. Unfortunately for the thief, he was finally caught on camera during his last break in attempt.  Detectives are confident that someone will recognize the man in the video and that he will be turned in soon. Luckily the thief has not caused too much damage to the school district which says that many of the stolen items are insured and they will be replaced either way.
