stroller 224x300 Maclaren Strollers Recalled After Amputating Babys FingersA massive recall of Maclaren Strollers has been put into effect after there have been multiple reports of injury due to a hinge on the strollers.

The strollers were made by the British stroller company Maclaren, and the strollers in question were sold between 1999 and the present. The problem with the strollers is that children either being put in the stroller or already in the stroller, can get their fingertips caught, and possibly amputated by the hinge on the stroller. The recall has not been officially announced, therefore it has not yet been determined which model number in particular is being recalled.trans Maclaren Strollers Recalled After Amputating Babys Fingers

Until then, parents should immediately stop using their Maclaren strollers until they can get a repair kit. Maclaren will be providing a hinge cover via its Web site and they’ll also be setting up a special phone line handle inquiries  beginning tomorrow.
