arrested man School Under Lock Down After Man With Gun Holds Principal HostageEarlier this morning an armed man walked into Stissing Mountain High School and held the administration hostage.

Officials have determined that the suspect, in his 40’s, was actually an alumni of the school. Fortunately, the police were able to secure all of the children in the school and no one was harmed. However, Stissing Mountain High School is currently stil under lock down and surrounded by armed guards. According to Pine Plains Town Supervisor, Gregg Pulver there have been no shots fired and no injuries. There is also yet to be reports on the suspects name.

Around 10AM this morning police were able to convince the crazed man to turn himself in. After the suspect was apprehended he was lead in hand cuffs to an ambulance where he was checked by paramedics. The school has about 500 students enrolled and 100 staff members and is located 90 miles north of New York city. As of right now there is no known reason behind the attack and what was the motive behind the suspect molding the school’s principal hostage.
