Facebook Helps Mother Find Kidnapped Children

can find anyone on Facebook! After years of searching, of lamenting and wondering, a mother is reunited with her children after finding her daughter with a simple Facebook search 15 years later.The children were kidnapped by their father when they were 3 and 2 years old, and their unnamed mother was told she would never see them again. After the Facebook search, the mother contacted the San Bernardino Deputy District Attorney who upon further investigation into the kidnapping was able to locate the children.
The father, Faustino Utrera, was arrested and the children were placed in the care of the Department of Children and Families until they were reunited with their mother. Though relationship building will take time, the woman’s ordeal is over thanks to the double-edged sword that is the Facebook search.
