Yonhap news agency reports that South Korea is arming its Northern border with a man killing robot that is capable of using heat, voice, and motion detectors to sense possible threats and fire on them with an automatic grenade launcher or gun.
The $332,764 killing machine was installed last month at a guard post in the central section of the Demilitarized Zone, and is now being tested to see if this device could be a permanent replacement to human guards. If the system proves successful, South Korea plans on placing many more sentry robots along the border of the Korean peninsula, giving it protection from every angle without having to employ real-life guards.
