By harmful we don’t mean that the celebrities themselves might wreak havoc on your system, but instead that searching for websites or images of these people might bring up malware-loaded websites specifically created to look like innocent celebrity content.

So who are 2011’s most dangerous celebrities to Google?

The list starts of with Heidi Klum, for whom about 10% of the results will pull up a website that might contain such malware as spyware, adware, spam, phising schemes, or a virus. As the list goes on, the threats decrease slightly, but users are still urged to be careful when searching for the following people:

  • Heidi Klum
  • Cameron Diaz
  • Piers Morgan
  • Jessica Biel
  • Katherine Heigl
  • Mila Kunis
  • Anna Paquin
  • Andriana Lima
  • Scarlett Johansson
  • Emma Stone / Brad Pitt / Rachel MaAdams

When searching for information of pictures of these people we advise readers to be careful not to download any content that looks suspicious or that normally doesn’t require a download or installation to access (such as an image file, which should be viewable in the browser without any downloads).
