BrickHouse Provides GPS Tracking of Road Trip for Child Abuse Prevention

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and in support of this important cause, BrickHouse Security has teamed up with Army of Angels’ Kross Kountry-4-Kids event, a two-week, round-trip convoy traveling from California to Washington, DC and back.

To help Army of Angels draw attention to a problem that affects countless children each year, BrickHouse donated a Spark Nano GPS tracker and use of its monitoring platform for the duration of the event, allowing anyone and everyone to follow the progress of the trip as it winds its way across America. The convoy departs April 1 and hopes to reach Washington, DC by April 7. The trip will return to California by April 14.

Visit this link for real-time location updates. Also, follow us on Twitter here for daily updates on the event.

Army of Angels is a Sacramento-based organization designed to forge positive relationships among concerned citizens, law enforcement, education groups, and others to foster awareness of child abuse and neglect.

  • Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up.

The text in your content seem to be running off the screen in Opera.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you
know. The design look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon.

We recently re-launched the blog. Still ironing out browser issues. Thanks for the heads-up

  • Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m planning to start
my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking
for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

Hey Gilda, we’re using WordPress and a custom theme. As you can see by clicking around, we’re still working out the kinks, but we’re pretty happy with it. Thanks for the nice words.

  • Admiring the hard work you put into your site and in depth information
you provide. It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed information.
Fantastic read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

  • Thanks for sharing your thoughts about pain management doctor.
