Busted: Security Camera Busts Money Seeking Fraudster

Sherin Brown, a 23-year-old woman, was walking down the  street in Brooklyn, New York, where she was almost struck by a lamp post knocked over by an out-of-control truck. Having avoided injury, Brown took this opportunity to practice her acting skills in the hopes of making some extra cash.

Before anyone had a chance to see what had happened, Brown quickly lay down near the knocked over pole and started acting as if she was in pain. As the police and emergency response team arrived on the scene Brown told them she was wounded and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

But it wasn’t too long before she was taken out of the hospital bed and put into handcuffs. When the police investigated the accident they uncovered surveillance footage that clearly showed exactly what happened and revealed Brown as a faker. She is now facing a Class A misdemeanor charge for falsely reporting an emergency. Just remember, you never know exactly who’s watching.
