bigfoot1211Tim Kedrowski, a 55-year-old salesman from Rice, Minnesota is skeptic about what he managed to snap a photo of, but the picture doesn’t lie. There was a large, black creature, that is about 7 feet tall walking right by. This creature is notoriously known as Bigfoot, or Sasquatch, but the most surprising part is how far away this was from where most other Bigfoot sighting have been. In the past people have mostly reported seeing Bigfoot around the northwester part of the United States, not the east.

This does not look like a hoax set up by the man, since it was taken with a motion activated camera that was set up to see what animals will trigger it. The only people that knew where the camera was installed, were the man’s two adult sons, who were far away from there that night. Also, his sons are not nearly as big as the 7 foot creature that the camera recorded. The man also reported that the two elderly men who live closest to the site told him that late that night they had gone outside to use their outhouse and had heard strange squealing noises that came from the direction of where the camera was.

“I can’t sit here and tell you I’m a 100 percent believer, but I’m a little less skeptical than I was before… You don’t go deer hunting looking for this kind of thing” said Tim Kedrowski.

Scientists, no doubt, will scoff as they always do about the idea of Bigfoot existing, but Kedrowski’s photo of the big lug, more formally known as Sasquatch, has given believers renewed hope that the creature might really exist.

lincolnFor years low officials in the town of Lincoln, Maine, have been trying to get security cameras up and running so that they may be able to better keep track of crime.

Councilor Stephen Clay said “There was just a lot of vandalism. We wanted a way to be able to see the vandalism take place, know who did it. So that’s how it all started.”

But recently these cameras have been running into a bit of a snag. As many devices in the area also use wireless networks this sometimes interferes with the cameras signal and makes it so that the camera shuts down and has to be reset from the government building. This is a problem for crimes that occur during the night. If the camera were to go out at 2AM and no one was there to reset it then anything could happen in that alley way and no one would be the wiser.

korean-grave-robberIn Korea, the ashes of famed actress Choi Jin-sil were stolen from their grave by what police believe to be a crazed fan. Police have released video footage taken by the graveyards security cameras which shows a short-haired, medium height man in his 40s wandered around the grave at 5:43-5:55AM on August 2nd. He was wearing camouflage pants, a short sleeved T-shirt and a gray vest.

The suspect was holding a large wooden stick and was seen in the video wandering around the grave occasionally measuring the grave where the ashes of the actress where held. After about 10 minutes of doing so, he left the scene, and that is when cameras were able to catch still images of his face. Police have already managed to match his face to another video of a man breaking into the grave with a hammer four nights later and stealing the ashes of the late Choi Jin-sil.

setupcamera_540 In a surprising revelation Thursday, NASA acknowledged that they treated one of the iconic recordings in American history like just another tape, erasing the Apollo 11 moon footage years ago in an effort to reuse the tape. Luckily for NASA, Hollywood is the land of second chances, and that is exactly what the agency is getting.

Lowry Digital, of Burbank Calif., is digitally sharpening and cleaning up the ghostly, grainy footage of the moon landing, making it even better than what TV viewers saw on July 20, 1969. Even more remarkable about their effort is that they are working with only four copies of the landing that NASA was able to pick up from across the world. In a move that seems eerily similar to re-releasing a film on its anniversary as a means of promotion, the first group of restored footage was released just in time for the 40th anniversary of the landing.
