Pepsi’s Jeff Gordon Test Drive video ad is big fun, but based on tens of thousands of Internet comments, a lot of people who saw it for the first time thought it was a legit hidden camera video designed as a prank on an unwitting used car salesman. From the many technical impossibilities to the clearly staged stunts, the video is a slickly produced hoax that generated a lot of buzz on the web.
