Everyone has that friend that they fear driving around with–the one with the unlimited texting plan, their phone in the cup holder in front of them, always at an arms reach.
Thankfully, a new iPhone application called Don’t Text Me was released and is now available on the iTunes Apple Store to deter people from texting that quickly-sidetracked friend while driving.
Just pick out those friends that are always flooding your inbox and add them to a list on the application. With one push of the button a message is sent out to those particular people to refrain from texting you because you’re driving. When you’re done, just push another button to announce your freedom from the road to your contacts.
“It’s simple to use and, hopefully will save lives” said Dr. Sev Hrywnak, the developer of the new application.
The application can be customized to inform people that you’re working, in class, with your family, or any other reason, so people know not to bother you.
