BrickHouse Security Awards the 2018 Scholarships
BrickHouse Security has awarded another two scholarships for 2018. As a premier supplier of surveillance and security solutions to consumers, businesses, law enforcement, and government agencies, BrickHouse Security is pleased to announce the winners of our 2018 scholarship program. Each year, a scholarship is awarded to up to 3 police officers who have been injured in the line of duty, and can be shared with their spouse and children as well. This has been the scholarship’s fifth year running.
The scholarship program, created and awarded by the company’s CEO Todd Morris, is our way of giving back to our customer community, saying “thank you” to hardworking law enforcement officers, and providing a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
This year’s scholarship winners both shared compelling stories about their experiences with law enforcement heroism. One of our winners, Jacob Cunningham, shares the story of his father’s near-fatal motorcycle accident while on duty as a police officer. The other, Jenna Williams, shares the story of her father’s injury which left him partially blind and unable to perform his job as a cop. Both students highlighted their views on heroism, the value of higher education, and their love for their families.
